Practice Information and Experience:

Jim completed his articles at Goulopoulos, Shiels and Mangopoulos and was admitted to practice in May 1979 and became a partner in 1984.

In 2001 Jim commenced as a consultant with Neville & Co. Melbourne.

In 2005 he established JC Lawyers.

In 2008 Jim commenced partnership with David Schetzer, a colleague of 20 years, establishing Schetzer Constantinou.

Initially Jim practiced in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Law however he later developed a particular interest in Family Law and Business Law and today these are his major areas of practice.

Jim has instructed in reported Family Law cases. He has also acted for many businesses for a number of years including manufacturing, retailing and restaurateurs. He has also been involved in significant commercial transactions including acting for shareholders in the acquisition by a private equity fund of a well known clothing manufacturer and for the vendors in several significant sales including one to a publicly listed Australian company.
