Practice Information and Experience:

After graduating from Melbourne University in 1974 and completing his articles, David became a Partner at a well established Law firm. After 30 years David went on to establish Pearsons Schetzer and Associates. In 1990 David achieved Specialist accreditation in Family Law.

In 2008 David commenced partnership with Jim Constantinou, a colleague of 20 years, establishing Schetzer Constantinou.

David is chair of the Family Law section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
David practices solely in Family Law and has done so for the past 30 years.
David received his Specialist Accreditation in Family Law in 1990 and has undertaken training in Collaborative Law.
David sits on the panel of the Family Law Specialization course as well as other committees associated with Family Law.

Interests:

Carlton Football Club, Wining and Dining, music and in particular Brian Wilson, Chicago (the band not the location) and Golf, in particular the Old course at the National Golf Course.
